I think Rhydian is one of the best stars discovered in a long time. He has amazing talent, style and is very good looking. That’s what x factor is. Obviously Simon knew the results way before they were announced because after Rhydian’s last song he called him Leon by mistake and said ‘freudian slip’ and then he said how your mum will be proud anyway regardless of what happens. He must have known which suggests it was a fix. Also, I can’t believe they made it Wales v Scotland v England, that was pathetic, such a ploy to get more votes. I won’t be watching it again and I know Rhydian will become an international success.
Yes i agree RHYDIAN should have won the x factor,and all i can say is what is the matter with you brits ,do you not know talent when it is staring you in the face or did you vote because of leons whinging. I for one will not be buying Leons single although he sang it well ,Rhydians version moved me to tears and if he had won i would have definately purchased his record and will do so if it is released and also any of his albums
Totally agree, listened to both versions again yesterday and
Rhydians version of the winner’s song was by far the superior in
every way as were ALL his performances throughout the series,
and EVERYONE knows it really but the Xfactor should be called
The Sob Factor, Leon is a nice kid (from what we can see at least) and so is Rhydian I’m sure but the media including the gutter press, are disgraceful in their cheap sales ploy of finding silly stories about the contestant and those of you that buy it should be ashamed!

I’m wondering if Rhydian had ‘debriefing’ after the Final. He was broken hearted on the Xtra Factor afterwards. I am counsellor and I am disgusted the way Rhydian was treated afterwards. he obviously knew he was clearly robbed.
He did have HIS CROWN STOLEN - not only were the PHONE LINES JAMMED -BUT in the 2nd half Leon came on first with his number flashed across the screens and then Rhydian came on LATER without his!!! What about people who had just tuned in????

I agree, Rhydian was robbed. Leon should not have been in the final 3 let alone win the competition. I will never vote on x factor again, the whole contest was fixed. Leon will have one hit and he will be another Steve Brookstein or Michelle Macmanus. I would love a rematch, Rhydian would win hands down.

I have to say that I didn’t watch the X Factor but I saw Rhydian at the Grand Slam 2008 Party at the Millenium Stadium and was just amazed. He is absolutley fantastic and i wouldn’t hesitate to buy his album.
The power in his voice was awesome and he completly filled the stadium, i even had a tingling feeling which only happens when we all sing the welsh national anthem on International Days.
