A MASSIVE TRAVESTY HAS TAKEN PLACE!!!

And there was I casually cooking my girlfriend a Spag Bol and sipping a glass of Merlot, during the results show….yes we’re classy around here and then I heard Dermot spit out those words “pub singer” as winner. I choked on my Merlot, leaving a new red pattern on my kitchen carpet….or should I say rug? Mel choked too and we couldn’t eat! Can you believe that?

The Rhydler wuz robbed!! It’s a travesty!

Even the Rhydler, so gracious in defeat, was in tears, wondering how his title had been snatched away from him. Interesting how all the so called “pro’s” on the show put a brave face and tried to excuse this travesty by saying that somehow the
winner had pulled the winning song out of the hat on his last song…….nice one. No way. We don’t believe it. Ofcom anyone?

Anyway, fact is Rhydler has established himself as the consummate professional throughout this series - no-one came anywhere near him. No wonder Simon looked so nervous tonight, knowing he was saddled with second best…:-) I wonder who will still be making records in 5 years time? Rhydler or the Pub Singer? No contest.

By the way, who else wants a Rhydian/Leona duet? Cool or what?

Nuff said….

Rhydler Rocks!

Rhydler Robbed By Pub Singer!

Day light robbery just took place in UK.

The pub singer with the sob story conned the British public and beat the Rhydler! I am mad as hell I ain’t going to take this anymore. No wonder the winner was speechless and crying at the end of the show: He just couldn’t believe how he had managed to pull this caper off? What’s wrong with the Brits? Why do they fall for this stuff?

The Rhydler was streets ahead and yet the pub singer pulled it off.

WE WUZ ROBBED!!

Competition For Worst Haircut?

Spot the difference!  Who was it who told me that short hair is in? Rhydian once again proves that hair styles are ageless…well we’re being polite…who else thinks that Rhydian would look better with shorter hair? I have to say that bouffant is definitely not in and neither is the quiff! I am convinced that if Rhydian cut his hair, he’d get more votes, or is it just me? Come on guys and girls…am I right or wrong?

Rhydian Roberts Video Of Somewhere

Here’s the video of Rhydian Roberts’ “Somewhere” on 24th November on X Factor.

Somewhere Somehow Rhydian Rocks Again!

Rhydian Roberts is back. After last week’s less than convincing performance, the Rhydler, looking electrifying in blue, brought the house down with a perfect performance of Somewhere.

His voice was perfection and every note delivered right on key. So moving was his performance that it brought Dannii to tears. He has certainly has given the others something to think about!

I  have to say that Rhydian Roberts is in a class of his own. Whilst other contestants delivered good performances, Rhydian looked calm and composed and seemed totally unaffected by pressure. It was also refreshing to see the videos of his surprise homecoming during the week. He seems very close to his family and modest too, judging by his reaction to the judges’s comments. Well done Rhydian, if you don’t go all the way to the final and indeed win it, it will be a travesty!

Video coming up soon.

Rhydian’s Song Of The Week - Somewhere - Barbra Streisand

Classically-trained  Rhydian Roberts is to cover Barbra Streisand’s song “Somewhere” this weekend on X Factor. It will be a return to the serious side of music for Rhydian, who has been glammed up by mentor Dannii Minogue in recent weeks and belted out classics such as Go West, complete with sailors and fur coats. The song choices were originally going to be Motown classics, but have since been changed to love songs.

Leon will sing Ray Charles’ You Don’t Know Me, while Beverley is set to have a go at Without You - a beautiful ballad originally sung by Harry Nilsson but made legendary by Mariah Carey in the 1990s.

Fellow over-25 contestant Niki will attempt Jennifer Rush’s The Power of Love and Hope will stay current with Hurt, a song by Christina Aguilera.

Finally, brother-sister duo Same Difference will bring their own sprinkling of cheese to Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now - a 1987 hit originally written as the theme tune to the film Mannequin.

No Matter What Happens on X-Factor, Rhydian Roberts is Still the Winner

The lights of the stage haven’t even cooled, nor have the echoes of the applause faded, and the offers for the talents of the great Rhydian Roberts are already pouring in. Rhydian is not your typical pop star who usually wins these types of competitions; he is a classically trained performer who shines the brightest when he is on stage performing for a live audience.

Rhydian Roberts is no fly by night singer who will make a few hits and move on into obscurity. Rhydian Roberts has true staying power and can look forward to a future as a powerhouse singer of stage and screen.

He has even won the approval of Simon Cowell who usually has nothing good to say about anyone. He likened the blond bombshell to Leona Lewis a pop sensation. Sharon Osbourne has said, “You are definitely going to win this.” But fate can be fickle and as they say in the world of opera in which Rhydian Roberts moves, “It ain’t over till the fat lady sings.”

Rhydian has won many fans with his quirky, individualistic style and striking blonde hair. His apparent love and respect for his parents, especially his mum is refreshing when most pop star wannabes want to show the world how “cool” they are. Rhydian’s fresh faced good looks coupled with his signature style have captured the attention of fans everywhere.

Still going up against the girl band Hope, Rhydian has the best chance of winning the competition and if he does not win, he is now on the public’s radar and doesn’t look like the type of guy who will go quietly into that good night.

He has already expressed his dissatisfaction with the editors of the show for the way they portrayed him in his auditions. He felt he was made to look like a laughing stock and that his footage was edited in such a way that it would make him look foolish. It doesn’t seem that the editing has hurt his chances in any way as each week he continues to deliver solid performances that are entertaining and polished.

He also felt that other contestants that were vying for the top spot were given editing that was more sympathetic and they were allowed to tell their sob stories. It is said that even before the live shows began, that Rhydian was thinking about calling it quits and throwing in the towel. Rhydian has gotten as far as he has without depending upon the sympathy of the audience; he is being judged solely on his superior talent.

How many people would be poorer if he decided not to compete? It is splendid to see a young man not afraid to show the world who he is and proud of his uniqueness and talent. Rhydian was determined he would get his real personality across to the audience when he began performing live and he has certainly achieved that goal and in a big way.
