Welcome to Rhydian Roberts Blog!
Welcome to the cyberworld of everything Rhydian Roberts. Feel free to gush as well as criticize because in the end, you wouldn’t be here if you didn’t love the Ridler. His talent shines through with each performance and sometimes it is so overwhelming it brings tears to your eyes. It is hard to find any contestant on the X-Factor competition that compares to him.
He has charisma, good looks, and a stage presence that cannot be denied. He loves his mum and for all female fans everywhere, nothing is more attractive than a chap who loves his mum. Listening to him perform, as he takes each song and makes it his own is a pleasure and without Rhydian Roberts, X-Factor would be just another boring talent show.
That is not to put down the talents of the rest of the contestants. It is just that Rhydian Roberts is so clearly head and shoulders above the pack when it comes to the complete package of what one looks for in an entertainer, that it is hard to give the other contestants a fair shake.
In his last performance, some harsh criticism was thrown the Ridler’s way when he performed a campy disco number that had two of the three judges disappointed in the content. They didn’t seem to blame our Rhydian; they blamed Gina for what they deemed a disappointment for his core fan base. I guess they just didn’t get it. He was brilliant; better than brilliant, he was fantastic!
I think they are too quick to judge, after all, most of us fans know that Rhydian has to perform whatever gimmick for the week that is handed out. He did a great job with what he was given, and if the judges don’t get that, they ought to think about changing the way the themes are chosen. Not every singer is going to peak for every genre of music that is assigned. Disco may not be his thing, but he sure sounded good while he did it.
Sharon Osbourne was the only one of the judges that appreciated this performance in the spirit it was intended. It was a riot to see the blokes lined up and saluting, while Rhydian looked so gallant and dashing in his dress whites. His powerful voice never once overtook the music and as always, there was not a hair out of place. He performed like a trouper and those true female fans swooned to see him looking so dapper.
This sexy, talented guy will go far no matter what the outcome on X-Factor. He has too much talent for someone not to scoop him up as quickly as they can. We predict he will be selling multi-platinum records in the near future, with fans lining up, days in advance, to purchase tickets to see him live and in the flesh. Who knows, he may even transport his fame and talent across the pond to America, where he beats their favorite Clay Aiken, who was a winner on Simon Cowell’s similar show, American Idol.

Rhydian is simply the best and his rendition of “Somewhere” was so moving.
He did not overpower us either.
very interesting post!
